Vernell Irby

Vernell was preceded in death by mother Annie Odera Reames, father Claude Obbie McIntosh, husband Don Hal Irby, sister Wanda Tompkins, brother Bobby McIntosh, 1 grandchild and 3 great-grandchildren. Left to cherish her memories are daughters: Linda Vidrine, Margaret Stafford, Donna Deshayes and husband Ricky, Janet Elliott and husband Pete Deshayes; son Gregory Irby and wife Tina; sister Louise Pickren; 20 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, 30 great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive guests for a visitation on Tuesday, October 29, 2019 from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039 followed by a funeral service to begin promptly at 2:30 PM in the Grand Chapel at Brookside. Burial to follow at Brookside Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039.
