To all the family,
We are so very sorry for the loss of your brother and beloved family member. Dai has shared many stories of how wonderful, kind,giving, and caring he was.  We are praying that the beautiful memories you have shared will bring you peace and comfort during this very difficult time.

I woke up at 4am today!  I think Đệ’s passing affects me more than I thought it would.  We had more than 150 people last night for Đệ’s prayer service.  He touched more lives than we thought.   He helped so many people that we did not know about.  We all cried our eyes out but it was a good cry.

I still can’t believe he is gone!  No more helper for our crawfish party, no more calling him when anything breaks down at our houses, no more bí, bầu, khổ qua left at our front door, no more birthday wishes (he never forget my birthdays in all the years I know him)… I can’t imagine how anh Khôi feels even he puts up  a strong front, can’t imagine losing my younger sibling.  

“When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure.”

Rest in peace, Đệ.  You are forever our treasure 💙

Dear Đệ,

You've been the most selfless person I know and I feel so lucky to have you in my life.  To all of us who knew you, you were always there for us. One call of your name, and you would be with us in a heartbeat. One mention that someone was in need, and you would give even your last penny. In this ever-changing world, you were our constant. Your death will never change that fact.

I find happiness in knowing that you will live on in all of our memories.  You may not have lived a perfect life, but you lived a good one. One that we will forever cherish and we will continue to remember.

I can never deny the pain that we carry, but I would like to remember you as a blessing and a lesson. I want to treasure the life you shared with us over the pain that your death has brought us.

Rest in eternal peace dear brother-in-law. You will live on forever in our hearts.
