Torrey James Roberts was born on May 17, 1949, in Houston Texas. He passed away on March 9, 2024, in League City, TX, at the age of 74, after a long battle with cancer. He was a man of integrity and known for his sense of humor, honesty, and generous nature. He was a loving husband and caring father who loved our Lord with all his heart.
Torrey Roberts is survived by his wife, Becky Roberts; son Edward Roberts (wife Stephanie), son Torrey Roberts (wife Amy) and grandchildren Brandon, Tyler, Mason, and Cooper, stepson David Kelley (wife Whitney) and grandchildren Ian and Claire, and dear sister Joan Marie Kronenberger. He was preceded in death by his parents Andrew Harrison, Sr. and Helen Joan Roberts, and brothers Edward Francis Roberts and Andrew Harrison Roberts, Jr.
Torrey served in the Air National Guard and had a successful career at Southwestern Bell and AT&T before retiring from Texas Children's Hospital. He was a committed Lifetime Committeeman of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, serving on the Corral Club Committee. Torrey enjoyed fishing and tinkering in his spare time.
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in memory of Torrey Roberts to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Educational Fund.
Rest in peace, Torrey. Your legacy of love, generosity, and dedication will always be remembered. We will miss you so very much and find peace in your eternal salvation with our Lord.
