Todd Anthony James Hutson

On Monday morning, April 17, 2023, Todd Anthony James Hutson entered eternal rest. Death eased in and ushered him out peacefully.

He was born April 12, 1991, in Houston, Texas, to Tonya Lewis and the late Calvin James Hutson.

Todd began his Christian journey at an early age at St. Benedict Catholic Church in Phoenix, Arizona. He received his education from Cesar Chavez High School and South Mountain Community College in Phoenix, Arizona. He was a proud and dedicated member of Mason Lodge Perfect Ashlar #75. He had a love for classic black and white movies, fashion, video games, writing poetry, music, and sports.

Todd was incredibly ambitious and success driven with an entrepreneurial spirit. His ambition led him to becoming a licensed insurance broker and real estate broker. His entrepreneurial mind allowed him to take what he learned as a trucking logistics customer service rep to pursue further training. Ultimately, allowing him to be the owner and operator of both ProStock Trucking Services and ProStock Logistics. He cherished his workers with a desire to make sure everyone was good. His life goal was to open a daycare for single moms to have a place for their kids where they would receive a quality early education surrounded by positive role models to give them a fair chance in the world.

Todd was a loving and dedicated father, son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend. His love for his family was unmatched and quality time with the people he loved was very important to him.

Todd is survived by his mother, Tonya Lewis; four daughters, Emily, Nevaeh, Journey, and Delilah; grandmother, Mary Tchissambo; brother, Michael Roman; three sisters, Keila Smithers (Timothy), Ebony Guidry (Antwon) and Adrianne Edmond; his stepmother, Linda Hutson; godmother, Alison Clark; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

A visitation for Todd will be held Saturday, April 29, 2023 from 10:00am to 11:00am at Paradise Funeral Home, Inc, 10401 West Montgomery, Houston, TX 77088, followed by a funeral services from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
