Thomas Anthony Brown

Thomas “Anthony” Brown of Conroe TX passed, on September 25, 2022, at the age of 67 from his hard fought battle with lung cancer. During this struggle what kept him going was his wife of 37 years and his two daughters.

Anthony was born on November 12, 1954, in Hartselle, Alabama to the late Bruce Brown and Sara Ada McBee. Anthony moved quite often in his childhood, with his parents, due to his fathers work. They lived in Michigan, Arkansas, and back to Alabama. After a few years in Alabama he realized this was just a steppingstone to Houston, where he would build his life. The first few years he had some odd jobs, but he found his calling when he began working as a tow truck driver. He quickly found that he enjoyed the thrill of the job but one thing was missing, someone to share his life with. He later met Veronica “Ronnie” Brown, and by December 19, 1984, they were married. Anthony realized he had found his best friend, and a soul mate that would make him one of the happiest men in the world. In this union they had two beautiful daughters Victoria and Jacqueline.

He was one of the most competitive fisherman and golfer. He loved the sport but most of all the trash talking that came with it. He was one of the most straight forward people you would ever want to meet. His heart was big, and his soul was kind. You could see the love he had for God just in the way he treated others.

Anthony is proceeded in death by his parents Bruce Brown Sr. and Sara (McBee) Brown, 2 brothers Bruce Brown Jr. and Barry Brown. He is survived by his wife Veronica “Ronnie” Brown, children Victoria (Jason) Butschek, Jacqueline (Tim) Nesby, 3 Grandchildren Tinsley and Jarrett Nesby and Evelyn Butschek, his sister-in-laws Sue Brown and Karen Brown, and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

A visitation for Thomas will be held Saturday, October 8, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060, followed by a memorial service from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
