Two souls, one unbreakable bond. This picture says it all—laughter, love, and a load of memories shared. Though one of us has moved on, the joy we created together will forever light up my heart. Best friends aren't just for a season; they're for every step, every laugh, and every tear. Love you always Twisted.

Four friends, one mission: to conquer Houston without taking a single step. Somewhere between 'urban explorers' and 'mall cops on vacation,' this is what happens when you trade walking shoes for two-wheeled wobbly adventures. Houston, we definitely have a problem.

So, I head to Houston to visit Terri and John, where they’ve planned an outing to meet Steve—and of course, we’re rolling in style on two-wheeled Segways. Why walk when you can glide, right?
We start cruising like pros—or so we thought (spoiler: I fell before we even left the starting point). Terri’s trailing John, and Steve decides to show off by “drifting” around a corner. Cue an epic Segway wobble, followed by her going down like a sack of potatoes. 
After each of us had finished flailing, sprawled out on the pavement, Segways tipped over, looking like we survived a middle school dodgeball match—skinned up.
We hobble into our destination: a Houston Haunted Bar. We try to play it cool, but between the limp and the scuffs, it’s clear we’ve seen better days. The bartender gives us a knowing smirk, thinking  “So, what’s it gonna be—cocktails or first aid?”
Lesson learned: Segways might seem like the ultimate way to make an entrance, but walking is vastly underrated.  Falling with your bestie is a guaranteed laugh—and a memorable way to roll into a bar.

He has a look on his face that says, “You want a bandage with that cocktail, or are you just gonna rub some vodka on it?”
Lesson learned: Segways might look cool, but walking is vastly underrated—falling down with your Bestie is a wonderful way to roll when you  want to keep your dignity intact.

Friendsgiving in July at Twisted's condo in Arvada where we enjoyed  turkey-fueled summer shenanigans, the cocktails were cold, the turkey’s hot, and the stories just kept getting better!  One of the best hostesses in the world where theres not a bring your own drinks policy and always a Cornucopia of Cocktails.  Cheers to you, my friend, with you everyday spent with you was holiday to remember!

Yep you guessed it at the Sweetwater  taking pics of Twisted Sister with Nicki!  You could always count on Free Therapy.  You show up to their bar after a bad day, and she slides your drink over without you even asking.  "Here’s something strong. Spill the beans. Who hurt you?"  By the time you leave, you’ve had a few cocktails and a free counseling session.

It's midnight, and after multiple bevvies, the bartender approaches and shares with us "Terri your Mom's on the phone".  Somehow, Belle knew. She doesn’t even say hello; she starts with:  "So, how many did you have?"  Cue guilt trip.

Terri was a dedicated team member and a much valued coworker. She is a core reason of why I love the solar workforce and continue to be part of it. You will be missed Terri.

I had the pleasure of working with Terri at Origis Energy.  She filled everyone with life and love.  Her sweet spirit was infectious.  Rest in peace!

What memories we have…. Leader of the Pack in your living room .. all your “ mini’s” that you loved , running around the Arvada track at 5 in the morning, countless aerobic classes , the “O” board the talks and ALL the laughs! I felt so welcomed into your family and it meant the world to me. Thank you my dear friend. I love and will miss you! Give Stevie, your mom and dad a big hug from me. Breathe easy now ❤️ Deb Sanrah~
