Teresa Ann Medina

Teresa Ann Medina, 49, passed into eternal rest on August 11th, 2020. She was born on July 7, 1971 to Sam Villareal Sr. and Yolanda Villareal in Houston, Texas. Teresa graduated from Baumholder American High School in Baumholder Germany.

Teresa married the love of her life John Patrick Medina Sr. and they were happily married for 34 years. Together they were blessed with four beautiful children. Teresa loved being a wife, mother and grandmother…it was her life’s greatest accomplishment. Teresa loved spending time with her family, she was very involved in her children’s lives as they grew up. You could always find her proudly cheering them on at any of their sporting events, from softball to football! She was their #1 cheerleader with the loudest noise makers…she most definitely stood out in the stands. Teresa was a very devoted member of the MacArthur Softball Booster Club. Teresa’s love for her children carried on as she was blessed to become a grandmother to her precious grandchildren.

Teresa enjoyed her time working at Mel Northey as the receptionist. She was a member of St. Leo Catholic Church and in recent years began a new journey at Champion Life Centre in Spring Texas. Teresa enjoyed growing her relationship with God, it was one of her passions. For those who knew her well, retail therapy was another one of her passions, this girl could shop ‘til she dropped!

She is preceded in death by her parents, Sam Villareal Sr. and Yolanda Villareal. Left to cherish her memories are her husband John Patrick Medina Sr., daughter Jessica Ann Medina, sons: John Patrick Medina Jr., Isaac Medina Sr., Jesse Medina Sr; grandchildren: John III, Isaac, Jané, Jesse Jr., Jason, Jocelyn, Teresa; sister Michelle; brothers Sam Jr., Anthony and Matthew, nieces and nephews, as well as a host of other family and friends.

The family will receive extended family and friends on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. The funeral service will be Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. in the Grand Chapel with interment to follow in Brookside Memorial Park.
