Tammy was born on August 21,1958 to Joe and Martha Dobson in Houston, TX. She graduated from Aldine High School in 1977 and married the love of her life, J.W. Wilson, on November 25, 1978. During their marriage they had three beautiful children, Nicole, B.J. and Nick Wilson.
She spent the majority of her career working as a stay at home mother molding her children into the amazing people they are today. They woke up for school every morning to the smell of breakfast, a corny song she made up, clothes laid out, and a sweet note on their napkins in their lunchboxes. She was always there and never missed a sporting or school event. Not only did she love with all of her heart, she gave it all.
Once her youngest child, Nick, started school, she started her career as a special education aid and then as an attendance clerk for Cy-Fair ISD and New Caney ISD, so she could be close to her children. She also previously spent time working for a flower shop and would often joke that she planned to retire and work part-time for Hobby Lobby so she could spend all of her paycheck on craft supplies.
Tammy was known for her huge heart, her love for baking and crafting, her artistic ability, and for bedazzling anything she could get her hands on. Gift giving was her love language, and anyone who was on the receiving end of those gifts knew how much they were loved. Tammy was a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, mother and friend, but her favorite role was being "Lolli" to her two grandbabies, Ryker and Cadence Wilson.
Tammy was predeceased by her mother, Martha Dobson, her brother, Joe Dobson, and her daughter, Nicole Wilson. She is survived by her father, Joe Dobson, her sister, Sandy Dobson, her husband, J.W. Wilson, Her sons, B.J. and Nick Wilson, her daughter-in-law, Ne'Lee Wilson, her grandson, Ryker Wilson, and her granddaughter, Cadence Wilson.
