Tammy Denise Barta, age 59 passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2020. Tammy was born February 28, 1961 in Houston, Texas to Ernest Edward Reames and Betty Jean Reames. Tammy was known for her laughter and no-nonsense attitude. She would tell you like it is. She enjoyed spending time with family/friends, boating at the lake, going to the beach, eating Mexican food and relaxing on the patio during a rain storm. She could tell interesting stories and never knew a stranger. Tammy is survived by step-mother Carolyn Reames; sister Michelle Reames, brother Brandon Reames, brother Randall Reames and half brother Kenneth Farr; 3-nephews: Blair Reames, Kane Reames and Zane Reames; 2-aunts: Edith Reames, and Pat Shelfer: numerous cousins and friends. A visitation for Tammy will be held Tuesday, January 5, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Heights Funeral Home, 1317 Heights Blvd, Houston, Texas 77008. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at 10:00 AM, 1317 Heights Blvd, Houston, Texas 77008. A graveside service will follow at 3:30 PM at Center Hill Cemetery, Linden, Texas.
