Steven Howard Wilson

Steven Howard Wilson left this life on Monday, February 10 from complications of Diabetes Mellitus. Steven was born in Dallas, TX. on April 3, 1961. He graduated from Memorial H.S., Houston and 3rd generation at The University of Texas, Austin where he received a business degree. Upon graduation he worked for the FDIC and later as a loan analyst with Chase and Wells Fargo Banks in Houston.

Steven is survived by his son Taylor R. Wilson, father, Dr. Joe B. Wilson and wife Janice, mother Charlotte Mares Leach and husband Gary, brothers Robert Wilson and wife Kathy, Scott Wilson and wife Donnita., stepbrother Wade Leach and wife Christina, and stepsister Rebecca Leach all of Houston, uncles Alfred Wilson and wife Barbara of Hunt, TX., Charles F. Mares III of Florida, and numerous cousins.

Steven was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed golf, hunting, and fishing with his son, Taylor, the greatest joy in his life.

It was Steven’s wish that he be cremated and his ashes taken to the family ranch in Hunt, TX.
