Steven P. Coggin, age 64, passed away Friday, March 21, 2014 in Livingston, Texas. Born in Alexander City, Alabama, he served his country honorably with the US Army. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Ruth Coggin. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Joyce Coggin; son, Ashley Coggin; daughter, Kayla Coggin; step sons, Heath Warner and Brian and wife Rebeckah Ainsworth; step daughter, Michelle Couch; 7 grandchildren; sister, Janice Watts and husband Donnie; brother, Jerry Coggin and wife Cindy; half-brother, Mike Prather; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, March 24, 2014 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 25, 2014 in the Chapel of Earthman Resthaven. Interment will follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery.
