Shirley was born in Jennings, Louisiana on April 24, 1942 to Robert and Alphosine Sittig. Shirley is best known to her family and friends as a tell it like it is, always speaking her mind, having a good time and dancing. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were her pride and joy, but we can't forget about her pesky nephew, Bob and wife Mona, who love to pick on her, and her Godchild Mickey Jones.
Shirley is survived by her husband Charles (Chuck) Saltzman of 59 1/2 years; daughters Jeanna Kostak (Chuck) of Cypress, Texas, Shenia Cunningham (Erroll) of Cypress Texas , and son Brad Saltzman of Youngsville, Louisiana; grandchildren Brooke Borgstedt (Clint), Jaree Marxman (Rainer), and Tre' Cunningham; great grandchildren Haven Borgstedt, Braxton Marxman, and Brantley Marxman; sisters Linda Neal and Faye Sittig of Jennings, Louisiana. Shirley is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Shirley is preceded in death by her father, Robert Sittig, her mother Alphosine Sitting, and five sisters.
We would like to thank Hospice for everything they have done for Shirley and the family.
