I was so sorry to hear of Sherry's passing. She was always so nice to me and she always made me laugh and what a beautiful smile. That is what I will remember when I think of Sherry. I enjoyed working with her.

I am so honored to have had Sherry as my sweet, awesome friend.  We had so much fun together and always laughed. I liked her from the moment I met her.  We worked together at the bank where we met nearly 25 years ago.  I admired her because she took such great care of her little girls and knew so much about being a mom.  We remained friends throughout the years, she was a bridesmaid in my wedding and gave me an awesome baby shower.  She became friends with my Mom, Nana, husband and brothers.  My son adored her and called her, "Aunt Sherry."  She was so warm and really cared about people.  I can't say enough kind things about Sherry.  We talked on the phone all the time and I learned a lot from her.  I really miss her.  Rest in peace my sweet friend.  I love you!!

 From the time I moved to Humble and met Crystal, Sherry welcomed me in as if she had known me forever (or I just came in). I remember one of the first times that I invited myself to stay the night with Crystal. We went to a store and when Crystal said that she needed face powder, Sherry asked me if I needed anything. So of course, I had to get me some too! Anyways, my point is that at that time in my life I really needed someone to show me some kindness and she did. She had a huge heart and loved to give and make others happy. She couldn't stand for anyone around her to be upset. I am forever grateful that God put Sherry in my life.

Aunt Sherry was so unique. Her sense of humor, compassionate heart and love for people could not be denied. She greatly impacted the person I am today. As a teenager, I wanted to be successful like her, as pretty as her and love people like her. I admired her and the "girl" nights with she, Jenny and Crystal, mall excursions and summers spent are precious memories I will never forget. She loved me like her own. I'm thankful for the impact God allowed her to have in my life. I love you Aunt Sherry.

About our precious baby Sherry Lynn, she was a blessing to our family from the first day she came into our life. Her sister Delores thought she was her doll to play with and of course we loved that. She loved the outdoors, and was the centers of attention were ever she was. She wound walk into a room and it was as if everything came to life. She gave us two beautiful granddaughters, Jennifer and Crystal, now we have two great granddaughters. So you can see that she will always be with us when we see these little ones.

Dear Delores,
We are so sorry about the loss of Sherry.  Thank you for allowing me to come pray with her in the hospital.  Although she was unable to speak I know she felt the Lord as tears would come into her eyes.  What a precious thing it is to be touched by Jesus. I am so glad that you and your family were able to spend some quality time with her before she passed away.  I know you treasures those moments.  We are sorry that we are unable to attend the funeral, but our love and our prayers will be with you and your family.
