Sandra Marie (Mussehl-Bohn) Born, 79, of Tomball /Dayton, Texas, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on June 1, 2024. She was born in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin on August 28, 1944 to parents, Lester Mussehl and Patricia (Rooney) Mussehl-Bohn.
To many in her family, Sandra was fondly known as “Sandee”. She graduated from Mechanic Arts High School in Saint Paul, Minnesota and pursued higher education at Benedictine University in Lisle, Illinois with an Associates Degree. Her professional journey continued as she devoted 21 years as an HR Manager at Reynolds Metals. Beyond her professional endeavors, she was a volunteer at Northwest Assistant Ministries.
She met James V. Born in St. Paul, Minnesota. James, who was both a neighbor and a grocery delivery boy, caught Sandee’s attention. The two married on October 17, 1964, and had their only son together, James J. Born in 1966.
Sandee’s was a virtuous woman of great faith. She enjoyed spending quality time with her grandchildren and loved ones. Some of her passions were shopping and antiquing. Her indomitable spirit, generosity, and warmth of her presence will be deeply missed, yet fondly remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Though our hearts ache with her absence, we find solace in the belief that Sandee now rests in the arms of her Creator our Father in Heaven, reunited with her loved ones, free from earthly burdens, and shining in her full, radiant self once more. She is fully restored, walking, talking, laughing and rejoicing in the presence of Jesus. Until we meet again, may her memory be a blessing, guiding us with love and light through the days ahead.
She is preceded in death by mother, Patricia L Mussehl-Bohn; step-father, Leonard Bohn; father, Lester Mussehl; brother’s, Patrick Mussehl and Michael Mussehl; son James “Jim” J. Born and Jim’s father, James V. Born.
