S. Lawrence Robertson Jr.

Sylvanous Lawrence Robertson Jr., passed away peacefully at his home in Houston, Texas on the 17th of June 2023, at the age of 97. He was born on the 25th of July 1925, in Shreveport, Louisiana to Sylvanous Lawrence Robertson Sr. and Marguerite Raccich Robertson.

Larry was a veteran and a successful retired financial executive. He graduated from Centenary College in Shreveport, Louisiana after serving in the United States Army Air Corps. Following college, he held executive positions with Panhandle Eastern Pipeline Corporation, SLR Consulting, and Great Plains Coal Gasification Project.

Throughout his life, Larry was known for his kind heart, wisdom, and great sense of humor. He had a deep commitment to his family, and he will be remembered for his generosity and devotion to those he loved. He loved spending time outdoors and cherished moments spent with his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents and first wife, Ann Byrd Robertson. He leaves behind his devoted and loving wife of 43 years, Annette Sukonik Robertson; his son, Sylvanous Lawrence Robertson III and his wife Ann; his daughter, Bridget Anderson; and his grandchildren, Robert Anderson and his wife Heather, Brent Anderson and his wife Leslie, and Christopher Anderson and his wife Kelly. He is also survived by his 8 adoring great-grandchildren, Holly Anderson, Chase Anderson, Andie Anderson, Ford Anderson, Shepherd Anderson, Levi Anderson, Jacob Anderson, and Tripp Anderson.

Larry will be forever remembered and missed by those who knew and loved him.

A funeral service is to be conducted at ten o’clock in the morning on Friday, the 30th of June, at The Texas Liberty Mausoleum of Memorial Oaks Cemetery, 13001 Katy Freeway in Houston.

Interment to immediately follow.

All guest will be invited to greet the family during a reception to be announced during the service.
