Rudy Maldonado Sr.

On Thursday, May 27, 2021, Rudy Maldonado Sr., loving father of three children, passed away at the age of 69. Rudy as born on March 23, 1952 in Houston, Texas to Ben G. Maldonado and Minnie S. Maldonado. He spent his entire life in the Houston area and retired from US GYPSOM CO. in 2017.

Rudy had a passion for helping people and spreading the word of God. He was a very proud American. He had an extraordinary ability to draw and that was passed down to his grandkids who have the same passion. He was a jokester, quick witted and had an infectious and compassionate smile. He was an active member of The Glorious Way Church, which he loved dearly.

Rudy was preceded in death by his brother Peter John Soto Maldonado, Ignacio Maldonado, and his parents, Ben G. Maldonado and Minnie S. Maldonado. He is survived by his three children Rudy Jr. & wife Gabriela, Elizabeth & husband Charles and Angelia & husband Frank. Along with his brothers Ben Jr., Alex & wife Irma, Richard & wife Wendy, Frank & wife Josie and 9 grandchildren and 14 nieces and nephews.

The funeral services will be held at Brookside Funeral Home on Tuesday June 8, 2021. The viewing starts at 12:30pm for all. The Celebration of Life will start at 2:30pm. Flowers or donations may be sent to Brookside Funeral Home located at 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston Texas 77039.
