Rose is survived by her brother Johnny Lee Robinson (spouse Doris Robinson) and her loving children; Monica Renee Duncan (spouse Curtis Gene Duncan), Fred Douglas Thomas Jr. (spouse Kimberly Thomas), Angela Denise Matchett (spouse Arnold Eugene Matchett), Nicole Thomas and Pamela Thomas Smith (spouse Charles S. Smith), a merit of beautiful, loving and supportive grandchildren (9 total) and great-grandchildren (12 total).
Rose was predeceased by her father Loraine “Buddy” Robinson, mother Della Hewitt Johnson and loving husband of 59 years Fred Douglas Thomas Sr.
Fred Douglas Thomas Sr. (decorated ex-military veteran) and Rose originally met in Mansfield Louisiana, but they decided to build a family and a life of love and service to Jehovah in Houston, Texas. In her younger years, Rose accelerated in high school sports (basketball and volleyball) at Desoto Parish High School in Louisiana. Upon graduation from high school, she studied cosmetology in beauty college. In 1963, Fred and Rose Thomas were joined in marriage and moved to Houston, Texas to begin their new life. Prior to her passing, Rose Thomas was a dedicated, faithful servant of Jehovah.
Services for Rose Thomas, will be held on Friday, 12/15/2023 at 12:30 at the following address: Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses located at 10707 Seneca St., Houston, Texas 77016.
