Rosemary Mummey

Rosemary Dineen Mummey was born on January 9, 1947 in Omaha, Nebraska to Thomas P. and Madeline McCaslin Dineen. She was called Home on November 22, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Madeline Dineen, sister Margaret Prendergast.

She is survived by her loving husband Phillip Mummey; daughters: Christine (Scott) Nelson, Lynn Womble, and Lori (Jeremy)Woods; son: Edward (Carla) Mummey. Rosemary had 11 grandchildren: Corey, Sydney, and Madison Nelson, Alyssa Buis (Cody), Phillip Mummey, Kaylee and Brodie Womble, Lucas, Abagail, Sarah, and Nicholas Woods; brothers: Thomas (Barbara) Dineen, Daniel (Corinne) Dineen, Edward (Jane) Dineen; Richard (Eileen) Dineen; sisters: Elizabeth (Mike) Engel, Colleen (Walt) Wellwood, Patricia (Dan) Reynolds, Mary (John) Jankowski, and Rita (Phil) Nelson; brother-in-law: Mike Prendergast.

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 28, 5:00-8:00 pm at Brookside Cypress-Creek Funeral Home. Rosary to begin at 7:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church on Thursday, November 29 at 11:00 am. Lunch to follow immediately. Private Internment.

Memorial Mass and luncheon in Omaha, Nebraska at Holy Cross Church on December 6 at 10:30 a.m.
