Rosario P. Pineda, 89, passed away on Sunday, September 27, 2015 in Spring, Texas. She was born in the Philippines on March 27, 1926 to Sergio Pangilinan and Isabela Tuazon. Rosario grew up in Magalang Pampanga selling food, pastries and sewing clothing. She spent some time in Mindanao during WWII.
Rosario loved to cook, serve and feed people and sew clothing to give to those in need. She was a very charitable lady until the end, always taking care of family and others who were needy. Rosario made more than 2,000 rosaries to give away. She loved to collect items that were still useful to other and could be sent to the Philippines.
Rosario’s proudest moments was when all of her children gathered together singing and celebrating at the table. She loved being a grandmother and mother who loved to serve her children.
Rosario was preceded in death by her husband Diosdado Pineda; and her brothers Pulo, Solomon and Moises. She is survived by her children Norlita, Norma, Norlan, Conrad, Arnel and Normie; her grandchildren Angela, Mary, Francis, Marcia, Bryan, Patrick, Katrina, Vera, Phillip, GB, Gigi, Rachael, Rina, Jon-Jon, Joseph and Paul; and her five great-grandchildren; her sisters Delfina, Flora and Nena; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
