Rosa M Gonzalez

Rosa M. Gonzalez passed away peacefully on August 26th, 2015 in Houston, Texas. She was born on July 27th, 1938 in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico. She is preceded in death by her parents and devoted brother, Carlos D. Gonzalez. Tia Rosa, as she was affectionately called, was a devoted and beloved sister and aunt who unselfishly gave of her time and self to family and friends. Her love was unconditional.

Tia Rosa loved the simple joys of life. She enjoyed visiting and conversing with family and friends and seeing photos of new family arrivals. She loved sharing her cooking treats such as buñuelos and her heavenly tamales during the Christmas season. Tia Rosa was loved by all and she will be deeply missed, especially by her niece, three nephews, and numerous great nieces/nephews.

The Gonzalez family would like to thank her many friends for their prayers and visits to see her at Vista Care. We would also like to thank Vista Care Center and their staff for the individual care and love they provided during her stay.

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 7539 Avenue K, Houston, TX 77012 on Tuesday, Sept.1, 2015 at 2pm.
