Ronnie Neal Reese

Ronnie was baptized at Calvary Baptist in Bay City. He was a 1965 graduate from Bay City High School and was a lifelong avid supporter of the Bay City Black Cats High School football team. In 1967, Ronnie graduated with a degree in computer science from Wharton County Junior College, and in 1970, he graduated with a bachelor’s in business from Texas A&I. Ronnie joined Grace United Methodist Church in the Heights in the mid 90’s. He was a protective husband and father, always concerned with the caretaking of his family.

Ronnie is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Darla Kay Reese; son-in-law, Paul G. Lock; nephew, Donald Lee Vinson. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Rundell-Reese; daughter, Julie Lock; son, Frank E. Reese; granddaughters, Calynn Lock, Patricia Lock, and Cassandra Lock; brother, Don Reese (Sherrie); sister-in-law, Patty Bell (Paul); brother-in-law, Steve Rundell (Judy); nephew, David Vinson (Jennifer); niece, Rhonda Brown (Ron), niece, Lauren Rundell (Selena Hall); nephew, Todd Graham; and numerous cousins.

A celebration of Ronnie’s life will be held Saturday, November 30, 2024 at Heights Funeral Home at 1:30 PM. A committal service will follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the Methodist Hospital Fondern 12 nurses for their exceptional care for Mr. Reese.
