My heartfelt condolences to the family. Roland was  a beautiful soul, very caring and selfless. When times were difficult, he could always put a smile on my face. He would tell me that I drive like a bat out of hell. 

It was a pleasure getting to know him. May you find comfort in your many memories.

I first worked with Roland at the Fiesta on 249 and 1960 and then again off and on when I moved to Corporate. 

Roland had such a big heart! Talked often about his son and family. Roland had a great relationship with his employees, a passion for the Grocery department, and loved being a Fiesta employee.

You are such a wonderful person. You were always so attentive of me and my daughter, Gisela. You were not only my manager but you were my friend. You gave me so much support and love in my happy days but also in my low and sad days. Words cannot express how much I miss you. It was such a pleasure working beside you as a stocker but such an honor having you as my manager. The years we have knowing each other are treasured memories I will always cherish and carry with me. Thank you so much for being an inspiring and wonderful man, and for being caring of me and Gisela, for always being a great role model to her from toddler to adulthood. Its your nephew ! When my Grandma Tommie passed away i never knew she was in the hospital i was never Contacted until 2 days later after her Death. My grandma had one of her Dreams she wanted to come True.. She would always tell me Grandson all i want is to have my 1st grandchild and all my Sons in the same room together for just once in my Life.But one of my uncles would be in prison or my dad was Always in prison. Her DREAM finally came true the day of her funeral. I got to be with all my uncles and dad and my Grandma that day. I know she was Smiling that day. After we buried her later that night i got to chill with my uncles and Roland was telling so Many stories that night about all his brothers as i just sat back laughed and listened to Roland that night.. A memory ill Cherish forever

Roland was always like a second dad when I was younger he always gave me advice and told me to Listen to my dad .Roland and my dad was best friends I remember him taking me to school cause my dad worked so far he would pick me up take me to his job at fiesta to watch movies in his office till it was time for school later on I ended up working with him at fiesta 20 for awhile he always had my back I will miss you love you al see you again ….

I meet Roland @ Fiesta #20 eighteen years ago. He was a very dedicated grocery Manager.  He recently came back to store 20 a few years ago. We where glad too have him back:) the store had major improvements because of his hard work. He is by far the best grocery Manager.
He was such a caring person and he had jokes for days. I'm going to miss your laugh but mostly your friendship.  Rest in Peace Roland

My name is Chris Castillo, I worked with Roland at Fiesta #20. I was his international  mgr. I also worked in the grocery dept. Roland & I became good friends  while I was employed there. Also after thd years I had left I always would try & come by & see him. He was a great friend and he always saw the best in me. He taught me so much. I saw Roland about a month  and a half ago. We talked for awhile was good to see him.  
I want to offer my condolences to the family. My heart hurts because I will no longer be able to see him in person. I will continue to pray for the family at this time. Roland I truly will miss you my brother. I will never forget you. RIP Roland🙏
