Rogelio Elias' greatest love was his wife and family; he loved to spend time with them singing, laughing, and dancing. His most favorite pastime was spent fishing and enjoying the excitement and thrill of a good catch.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Norma Elias; son, Elyud Elias; daughters, Brenda Cantu and Shirly Elias; Daughter-in-law, Vanessa Elias and son-in-law, Daniel Cantu; Grandchildren, Daniel Cantu Jr., Ellie Elias, Julian Elias, Nicholas Cantu, Alexandria Cantu, and Thomas Cantu; brother, Jose Guadalupe Elias; sister, Teresa Elias; brother, Rafael Elias, and numerous extended family members.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 24th, 2021 from 5:00-9:00pm at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas. We will begin with eulogy readings from Elyud E., Brenda C. and Shirly E. and then a remembrance from dear friends. A reception will be held after the burial at 16010 Bollard Dr., Crosby, Texas 77532.
