I worked with Rodney for years at Texaco - and when times were tough, I was always grateful for how he would keep things light and in perspective. One of the greatest things I learned from him was not to take myself or my job too seriouly. His lesson got me through some bad times then, and many times since then. I'm glad I worked with him. I am really sad to hear about your dad. 
My dad has been gone about 10 years now, but I think of him on occasion and smile. Sorry I couldn't make it to the funeral. I have been living in Colorado
for about 7 years now and just heard of his passing. Hope you guys the best.

I worked with Rodney at Texaco for the last nine years before his retirement. I don't need to tell you he was a hard worker and full of mischief, we certainly missed Him after he retired. I was saddened by his death. Kenneth McAdams.

To the Bourdon family.  I am so sorry to hear of Rodney's passing.  I would be at his funeral service but I just now pulled up the Chronicle obituaries.  I grew up in Broadmoor addition with Rodney & Barbara, we all went through
school together.
