He was the fourth child of five children, born on January 24, 1945, in Geneva, Texas, to the late Protis and Syble Williams.
He received Christ at an early age at County Line Baptist Church, Geneva, Texas. He attended The Crossing Community Church and Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, Houston, Texas.
Rochester attended public school at Thomas-Johnson, Hemphill, Texas, before attending Texas Southern University, where he received a drafting degree.
Rochester worked for a year at Finger Furniture before being drafted into the U.S. Army, where he proudly served two years as an accounting specialist. He was honorably discharged with the rank of SP5. After his discharge from the U.S. Army, he continued his career as a salesman at Finger Furniture for 38 years, until his retirement in 2007.
He leaves to mourn and cherish his memories: one daughter, Kimberly Gordon, Houston, Texas; one son, Ryan K. Williams, Houston, Texas; one brother, Harold Williams (Alice), Spring, Texas; one grandchild, Ryan A. Williams; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Three sisters, Gloria Kelly, Frances Ellington, and Helen Jackson, preceded him in death.
