Robert Earl Milton

Robert Earl Milton, age 67, passed from this world while surrounded by family in Houston, TX on December 12, 2015. He was born January 31, 1948 in McComb, MS to Lloyd Elder and Julia Gertrude (née Martin). He attended McComb High School, and received an Associate Degree from Southwest Mississippi Junior College. On January 16, 1969, he married Reba Nell McIntosh, and they moved to Houston, TX in 1970. Together they had two children – Robert Evan (married to Ella) and Rebekka Faith (married to Keith) Drlik. He was a devoted member of Woodhaven Baptist Church and, later, Bear Creek Baptist Church, forging cherished friendships in those communities. He was hard-working, loving, and wise beyond measure.

He is survived, remembered, and loved by his wife; his children and their spouses; his granddaughter, Caroline; his siblings, Jerry (married to Nancy), Jimmy (married to Renee), Bill (married to Marsha), Katherine (married to Jim) Everett, Ted (married to Sally), and Pauline (married to Joey) Smith; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Monica Lea; and his sister Betty (married to the late Johnny) Wolfe. The family will receive guests from 9:00 AM on Friday, December 18, 2015 at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home in Houston, TX, and the service will follow at 10:00 AM.
