Dad was great man and had a big heart. In dads earlier days he loved to hunt. Dad was really good at water skiing and he loved to hangout on the lake. He loved his job and took pride in being an electrician. In his spare time you could find him playing cards or dominoes. He enjoyed bowling and he loved country music. Dads favorite car was a 1967 burgundy Chevelle. He took pride in keeping it clean.
He loved to watch old TV shows like Smokey the Bandit, Andy Griffin, In The Heat of the Night and The 3 Stooges. He also liked to watch game shows like The Wheel of Fortune. He liked Western movies. He loved to watch nascar, the Indy races, baseball and football. In which he would play very loud.
Dad was always known for wearing his cowboy boots, wrangler jeans and a pearl snap button up shirts with a baseball cap. He loved Italian food and seafood. Spaghetti and shrimp were his favorites. He ate all of the shrimp including the tails. The only thing sweet that dad liked were brownies.
Dad would do anything for anybody. He would give the shirt off his back if he had too. His nickname was Wonder Boy given by his sisters. His pride and joy were his two girls that he loved with all of his heart. They meant the world to him.

He is survived by his daughters, Tiffany Bennett and husband, Beau; and Tanya Mayfield; grandchildren, Lindsey and Jake Bennett; sister, Cindy O'day and husband, Mike; niece, Jessica James and nephew, Jason Prince. He is preceded in death by father Robert Clifford Mayfield Sr and mother, Katherine Scardino Mayfield, his brother, Robert Clifford Mayfield, Jr and sister, Joann Mayfield.
