Robert Elton Maxwell Jr.

Robert was born to Robert Elton Maxwell, Sr. and Kathlyn McNamee, in Houston, Texas on August 26,1939. He received a B.A. degree from the University of Houston. He married Mary Roshton Maxwell in 1975. Together they raised three children.

Robert is survived by: wife Mary Maxwell, sister and husband Linda and Jimmy Fehrle, sons: Lance Maxwell and wife Luci, Robert Maxwell III, and former daughter-in-law Sherry Maxwell, grandchildren: Meredith Maxwell, Robert Maxwell IV, Mary Virginia (Mia) Myers, and Robert (Rob) Myers III. He is survived by son-in-law Robert Myers,Jr., Adam Merritt, Nick Merritt, James and Ashley Fehrle, Abigail Fehrl, Jacob Fehrle and sisters-in-law Diane Mueller and children and Katherine Hudgins and children.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Mollie Maxwell Myers.

Robert was Vice- President of the Equipment Division of Briggs Weaver, President of John Deere Equipment for Justin Industries, and then formed his company Global 8, an import/export business.

A funeral service will be held at 12:45 PM on June 7, 2024 at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale Ave., Houston, Texas 77023. A reception will immediately follow at the same location.

A private graveside service will have been held earlier by the family.
