Robert James Dawson, 83, passed away on November 9, 2024 peacefully at home in Katy, TX. Born on February 9, 1941 in Cork, Ireland. Robert, affectionately known as Bobby, was renowned for his gentle, kind, and welcoming nature, always ready to help those in need.
A proud veteran, Bobby served in the US Air Force, where he embraced the discipline and camaraderie that military life offered.
Bobby's life outside of work was filled with love and connection, centered around his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Keodokmai Dawson; son, Robert Dawson Jr; daughter, Vatsana Lim; son-in-law, Nick Lim; daughter-in-law, Melissa Dawson; Zcdaedel Rajvongthong; nephew and grandchildren; Ty Kamya, Riley Dawson, Benjamin Lim, and Emma Lim. Bobby was preceded in death by his daughter, Barbara Dawson.
His life was one of service, compassion, and dedication to his loved ones.
