Born March 21, 1950, in Houston, Texas. He was a graduate of Aldine High School. Bobby worked for over 30 years at Linbeck Construction where he was a Sr. Field Engineer, until he retired in December 2018. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting.
He is survived by two nephews, Richard M. Cowart and wife, Julie of Chattanooga, TN and John M. Cowart and wife, Paula of Montgomery, TX, great niece Pamela Christine Cowart Ready and husband, Weston of Leander, TX, great nephew Wesley M. Cowart and wife, Chelsea of Spring, TX, great great niece and nephew Emma Cowart and Wyatt Ready.
Bobby is also survived by his three cousins who he adored like sisters, Carol Ann Chambers Harness, Becky Chambers Larson and Susie Chambers Baker, all of New Waverly, Tx. He is also survived by many friends and his Linbeck family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Hugh Monroe Cowart, Sr. and Dennie Mae Smith Cowart, brothers Hugh Monroe Cowart, Jr and Kenneth Preston Cowart.
The family would like to thank Bobby's personal caregivers, Crystal Bankhead and DeDe Matthews as well as the entire staff with VITAS hospice in Shenandoah, Texas.
