We played in the Ashford UMC hand bell choir with Bob for many years and enjoyed getting to know him.  He was truly a great friend to all who knew him.

After we moved to Colorado, Bob visited us a couple of times when he made his annual trip here both to attend a gun and ammunition show and primarily to visit and help his sister.  This is a photo of us with Bob at Helen Hunt Falls.

I first met Bob when I joined AUMC in the late 1990s. I enjoyed singing with him in the choir for years and gladly worked with him on several church ministries, especially Peppermint Fair which he chaired for multiple years. Bob always had an encouraging word and great story. He will be missed.

My deepest condolences to Bobby's family and friends. He was such a sweet and kind man. He was a loving brother and uncle and friend! 

Bob was a warm presence at Ashford United Methodist. He never failed to start a conversation, and he was a great teacher. I will remember our fun at Sunday School parties and the Chile Cook-off! He was always happy to win a gift that he could take to his sister.
May Bob rest in peace and good health.

I worked with Bob for many years as a fellow Texaco employee and I extend my condolences to Bob's entire family and friends. Although , I didn't work as closely with Bob as others, I do remember his smile, always had a joke and wonderful manner about him. It's a painful time now, but remember the wonderful things about this young man.
He sure made his mark: his relatives and his many friends attest to that.  Another bright light of a great group of people has made his transition to a better world.... Happy trails, my friend....

Bobby was a dear soul. I was honored to know him. Though our visits in Colorado Springs were  brief over the past years, I felt a kindred spirit to him, as friend and brother in Christ.
 I loved to make Bobby laugh!
 He was a patriot who loved  his country, and a true Texan. 
I look forward to seeing him again, in heaven one day!

Uncle Bobby reads Samantha her new book. He also volunteered at an elementary school reading with students who needed extra help. He helped in vacation Bible school, dressing up and telling the Bible story of the day. What a Guy!!!

I am saddened to learn of Bobby's passing. He was one of my closest friends in high school at Hardin Jefferson. We had many adventures together and many fun times in band. He was a good person and I am consoled that he is in heaven and experiencing no more pain and suffering.

We would like to extend our sincere sympathies and condolences to Bob's family. A true child of God who walked the walk. A friend to many and a witness to all.   May he rest in peace in his rightful and eternal heavenly home.

Collins.  I love and miss my cousin, He was like a brother to me!!!!

Bobby was a true friend. I knew him from grade school & he will be truly missed.

Bob was a good friend we met at Texaco and remained friends all these years. Bob struggled with his health most of his life but never complained, living his life to the fullest. He was the most giving person we knew, taking care of his Mother, Aunt Eleanor, and Uncle Kenneth until their death. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and spending time on his country property where he dreamed of building a retirement home but his health prevented him from realizing his dream. Bob was a faithful servant of the Lord, giving his time and talents to the church, singing in the choir and playing hand bells as long as he was able. He will be missed by his many friends.

I thought this was a great picture of Bob.  I uploaded it from his Facebook page.  This is how I will remember him.

I worked with Bob at Texaco for decades.  Bob had one of the kindest souls and remember him as always being a Gentleman. I haven't seen him in several years but I remember our lunches together and he never had an unkind word to say about anyone. He always seemed happy and it was infectious.

A bright light has gone out in this world, only to burn much brighter in a far, far better place.

Rest in peace my dear friend Bob.  You have surely earned it.

To Bob's Family,

Bob was one of the best liked people at Texaco.  He was always so kind and thoughtful and always had a smile on his face.

I know many of his coworkers will miss him.  Luckily,  a group of us got together for lunch so I have seen him quite a bit in the last few years.  He always handed out trinkets to his women friends.

May memories of him always be music to your heart.

Bob was a caring and  kind  gentleman to all.  I was blessed to know  
 him.
