Robert D. Buley

Robert Dale Buley passed away on September 16, 2015 after a short battle with cancer. He was 47 years old. He was born in Rockville Centre, NY to Dale and Marie-Therese Buley and has 4 siblings: Virginia, James, Marilou and Anne. He is survived by his devoted wife of 19 years, Elena and has two children: Benjamin and Samuel.

He attended and graduated from Seaford High School, received his B.S. Degree from Springfield College in Massachusetts and his Master’s Degree in Education from Adelphi University.

He was an excellent athlete and played both football and wrestling. His passion was coaching young students in the sport of wrestling and he enjoyed playing the guitar.

Robert was a teacher and coach for many years and he positively impacted the lives of hundreds of students in Houston ISD, Strake Jesuit College Prep and most recently in Cy-Fair ISD.

Friends and family are invited to attend a visitation on Friday, September 18, 2015 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. and the rosary from 7:00-8:00 p.m. at Advantage Funeral home on 7010 Chetwood Drive Houston, TX. 77081. A funeral mass is scheduled for Saturday, September 19, 2015 11:30 a.m. at St. Justin Martyr Catholic Church 13350 Ashford Pointe Drive, Houston TX. 77082.
