Rita Power, of Houston, passed away peacefully Sunday morning, the 2nd of October 2011, at her home in North Houston. Immediate survivors include her husband, Harold "Hal" Power; daughter, Elise Power of Dallas; and son, Jeffrey Power of Houston.
The family is to gather for a memorial service in Dallas at the Olan Sanctuary of Temple Emanu - El, and later for a subsequent interment service at Arlington National Cemetery.
In lieu of customary remembrances, contributions in memory of Mrs. Power may be directed to the Lighthouse for the Blind of Houston, 3602 W. Dallas St., Houston, TX, 77019; or to the Anne & Sam Kesner Congregation Fund, Temple Emanu - El, 8500 Hillcrest Rd., Dallas, TX, 75225.
