Ricardo nació el 16 de septiembre en 1933, en Yolombó, Antioquia – Colombia. Su padre fue Lisandro Macias y su madre Mercedes Restrepo. Ricardo sirvió en la guerra de Corea en 1953.
En 24 de noviembre de 1956, contrajo matrimonio con Amparo Suárez y tuvieron cuatro hijos. Ricardo dedico toda su vida a su esposa e hijos y les inculco el deber y la honradez. En el año 1969 emigro a Estados Unidos donde se hizo ciudadano Americano. Ricardo permaneció en este país por el resto de su vida donde crio a su familia.
Ricardo ha sido querido y será siempre recordado por esposa Amparo; sus hijos Ricardo León y Juan Diego sus hijas Gloria Stella y Claudia Elena. Sus nietos Ricardo Alonzo, Brandon, Daniel Harris, Nadia Amna, Christina y Lina Marie.
En su memoria se celebrara una misa el 15 de Septiembre 2018, a las 11:00 a.m. En la iglesia Prince of Peace Catholic church – 19222 State Highway 249, Houston, TX 77070 – teléfono: (281) 469-2686. Ricardo Antonio Macias, passed in Houston TX, August 5, 2018, he was 84 years old.
Ricardo was born in September 16, 1933, in Yolombó, Antioquia – Colombia his father was Lisandro Macias and his mother was Mercedes Restrepo. In 1953 Ricardo served in the Korean War.
November 24, 1956 Ricardo married Amparo Suarez and they had four children. Ricardo dedicated his life to his family and installed in them honesty and hard work. In 1969 he migrated to the U.S. where he became a U.S. citizen raised his family and lived all of his life.
Ricardo will be loved and missed by his surviving wife Amparo; his children Ricardo Leon, Juan Diego, Gloria Stella and Claudia Elena. His grandchildren Ricardo Alonzo, Brandon, Daniel Harris, Nadia Amna, Christina and Lina Marie.
In his memory a mass will be celebrated September 15, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. At Prince of Peace Catholic church – 19222 State Highway 249, Houston, TX 77070 – telephone (281) 469-2686.
