Renè Rodriguez

René Rodriguez, age 85, passed away peacefully surrounded by his wife and kids and went to be with his Lord on November 11, 2016, one day after his birthday. He was born November 10, 1931 in San Francisco, Tamaulipas, Mexico to parents Manuel and Esther Rodriguez.

René was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers: Rogerio Rodriguez and Raul Rodriguez; and two sisters: Raquel Rodriguez and Agapita Rodriguez. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Antelmiza Rodriguez; six children: Maricela De La Garza, René Rodriguez Jr. and wife Nery, Marisol Rodriguez and husband Sosimo, Luis Rodriguez, Mireya Patterson and husband Bryan, Marisa Chikiamco and husband Arick; fourteen grandchildren: Bianca Ruiz and husband Hernan, Monica De La Garza, Alex Patterson, Itzel Rodriguez, Alyssa Rodriguez, Mark Rodriguez, Christina Rodriguez, Bryana Patterson, Austin Harper, Yanell Rodriguez, Sosimo Rodriguez, René Rodriguez III, Aiyden Chikiamco, Acelynn Chikiamco; great grandchild, Zooey Ruiz; brother, Manuel Rodriguez and wife Otila; three sisters, Esther Rodriguez and husband Rogelio, Bertha Rodriguez, Yolanda Rodriguez and husband Ignacio; and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends and family for Visitation Tuesday, November 15, 2016 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM in the Grand Chapel with a Rosary at 7:00 PM, and a Funeral Service Wednesday, November16, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039, followed by a burial at Brookside Memorial Park.

La familia recibirá a sus familiares y amigos para el Velorio el martes 15 de noviembre de 2016 de 5:00 PM a 8:00 PM en la Gran Capilla con un rosario a las 7:00 PM y un servicio fúnebre Miércoles 16 de noviembre de 2016 a las 11:00 AM en Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039, seguido por su entierro en Brookside Memorial Park.
