Raymond was born in Houston, Texas on October 13, 1927 to Luther and Una Walker and at a young age left Houston
to live with an Aunt and Uncle in Hillsboro, Texas. From there he joined the U.S. Army during World War II, serving his country in Japan.
In 1963, Raymond moved his family to Sugar Land and went to work for Imperial Sugar Company, where he retired 29 years later.
Raymond was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Augusta and is survived by his sisters Lavern of Arizona and Doris of Colorado, daughter Kathleen of Stafford, Texas,
son Jimmie & wife Debbie of Leakey, Texas, grandson Clint of Idaho, great-grand daughters Amber & Jessica and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
