Raymond Lee Ray Brod, 82, passed away Monday, January 31, 2011.
He was born to Lee Ray and Myrtle Brod in Houston, Texas on November 5, 1928. A graduate of Jeff Davis High School, Ray was a lifelong member of Sons of Hermann Edelweis-Magnolia Lodge No. 47. He was preceded in death by his wife, Loretta Hablizel Brod. Ray is survived by his children, daughter Donna Aldmon and husband Doug, daughter Jan Collier, daughter Peggy Brod, daughter Gayle Brod Bartlett, son Steve Brod and wife Mary Kate, daughter Carol Weis and husband Bill, 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday, February 4, 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, February 5. Internment will follow at Forest Park Cemetary.
