Phyllis Fischer, passed away peacefully in her sleep, on Saturday, April 11, 2020 at her home in Houston, Texas. She was 78. Phyllis was born December 28, 1941 in Cork Ireland. She is preceded in death by her son Phillip Dawson and her daughter Barbara Ann Dawson. Phyllis is survived by her husband John Charles Fischer III, her son Robert Dawson and his wife Melissa Dawson. Phyllis also has three grandchildren. Phyllis always enjoyed music and was very accomplished in the Violin while growing up in Ireland. After moving to America, Phyllis enjoyed a lengthy and successful career in office administration at Star Motor Cars in Houston, Texas. During her career at Star, she established many life-long friends and she will be missed by everyone who ever had the pleasure to know her. Phyllis was always passionate about her religion and regularly volunteered at her local church even after her retirement.
A private graveside service will be held at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
