Perry Lee Mills

On December 7, 1940, a baby boy was born to Maggie Tolar Mills and Perry Lee Mills Sr. in Laneville, Texas where he would later attend public schools. He then moved to Houston Texas where he completed his education at George Washington Carver High School. Shortly after he was united in marriage to Evelyn Macklin and to this union one child was born Carol Antoinette Mills. Perry was an active member of The Twelve Royals of Houston Social and Charity Club until his death. He was also an avid lover of all things related to aviation and collected many mementoes over the years. He entered eternal rest on July 10, 2021.

He leaves with cherished memories his only daughter Carol Mills- Murphy, grandchildren Ashley Murphy and Christopher Murphy. Three sisters Doshie Thompson (Eddie), Linda Green (Maurice) and Brenda Taylor (Robert), one sister-in-law, Marian Mills and leaves many other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by parents Maggie and Walter Weathersby, sister Mary Griffin, brother Robert Mills, niece Karen Mills-Moore.
