She was born in St. Louis, Missouri to Vernon and Aldine Brown on May 10th, 1961. She quickly found herself in Houston, Texas along with her older brother, Jack Bynon. She would call Houston home for the rest of her life, but frequently traveled across not just the country, but the world.
Patti graduated from Spring Branch High School and then quickly went into the workforce, working a variety of jobs. She finally found herself in her dream job when she began working with a home fragrance company in 2006. There, she worked diligently throughout the years, even recently earning herself a promotion to Director of Sales. Patti loved working for Pink Zebra, and always said that her coworkers weren't just her peers, they were her family. Through her position there she was able to cultivate relationships with hundreds of people around the country, all of who also share in the grief caused by her sudden passing.
Patti met the love of her life, Robert Parker, her husband of 36 years, when she was just 18 years old. They were married in Houston, on October 18th 1986. Together, they raised a son, Robert Jr. and a daughter, Samantha.
Patti was a selfless and loving wife and mother, but an even more amazing "Gigi." She poured all her love into her two grandsons, Alexander and Lincoln, and would travel across the country to visit them as often as possible.
In Patti's true, selfless style, she was a registered organ donor and has given the gift of life to others with her passing. She will be remembered by her endless giving nature, and we can only hope to echo her actions in her honor.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Aldine. Patti is survived by her loving husband, Robert Parker, her son and daughter-in-law Robert Jr., and Emma, daughter, Samantha and grandsons, Alexander and Lincoln.
A memorial service will be held at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home and Cemetery at 1pm on August 26th.
