PATTY JEAN (SENIFF) GRIZZAFFI, age 84, passed away after complications with a blood infection on the 8th of September 2012. She was a retired teacher from Resurrection, St. Francis of Assisi, Christ the King Catholic School, New Testament Baptist and finally concluded her 31 year teaching career with HISD Sinclair School.
Patty was born in Pittsfield, Illinois, and her family moved to Houston in 1945. Patty’s greatest enjoyment in life was being with her family whether it was at home or on vacations. She also enjoyed reading, painting and watching western movies.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband Vincent Grizzaffi, Sr. of 55 1/2 years, parents Wayne and Ila Seniff, sister, Betty Feather; and brother, Jack Seniff.
Patty is survived by her youngest sister, Sue Liccioni; sons, Frankie and wife Debbie, Vincent Jr. and wife Donna; daughter, Annette Michels; and husband Chris, 6 grandchildren, Wendy, Hilary, Christopher, Valerie, Ryan, Brittany; and 4 great grandchildren, Zoey, Hannah, Cooper, Cameron and future baby Nicholas.
We will miss you and love you always.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from five o’clock this afternoon until eight o’clock this evening, Monday, the 10th of September, in the Jasek Chapel of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive in Houston. A recitation of the Holy Rosary is to begin at seven o’clock, led by the Ladies of Sacred Heart.
The funeral service is to be conducted at two o’clock in the afternoon on Tuesday, the 11th of September in the Jasek Chapel at Geo. H. Lewis & Sons.
The interment will follow, via an escorted cortege, at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery in Houston.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Charles Campise, Sr., Frank P. Grizzaffi, Sam Grizzaffi, Brian Liccioni, Martin Seniff and Chuck Gardner.
