Ora Lee (Travis) McWhite, 99, a resident of Houston for 20 years, entered into rest April 25, 2023. She was born in Newport News, Virginia on February 4, 1924 to parents Hayes and Minerva Travis.
Ora Lee was a proud graduate of Huntington High School's Class of 1941. After high school, she continued her education by attending Saint Paul's College located in Lawrenceville, Virginia.
She dedicated 25 years to the City of Hampton (Virginia) Department of Parks and Recreation as a Recreation Specialist and retired May 23, 1986.
Ora Lee was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
