Ofelia Galicia

Ofelia was preceded in death by her parents Enrique and Carmen (Lerma) Marks, spouse Mario Galicia, brother Adolfo Marks, daughter-in-law Bertha and great grandson Anthony.

Ofelia is survived by her brother Enrique Marks Jr and spouse Maruca, sister Mary Ann Alvarado and spouse Nicholas, sister-in- law Olivia Marks, daughter Leticia Ramirez and spouse David, son Israel Galicia and spouse Sheryl, son David Galicia, son Mario Galicia, all her beloved grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great granddaughter Alani.

She was a beloved mother, mother-in-law, grandmother "GMA", great grandmother, sister, aunt and most recently a great great grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family, taking long scenic road trips, watching action or scary movies, listening to music and she had a love for sweets and beautiful flowers. She was loving, kind and showed thoughtfulness to all (a heart of gold and a great sense of humor). We will miss her laughter.

To honor Ofelia’s memory, visitation will be held Tuesday, November 26, 2024 from 5-8 PM at Heights Funeral Home, with the funeral service beginning at 7 PM. Interment will be held Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at Houston National Cemetery at 2 PM.
