A woman of extraordinary beauty, grace, and glamour, she departed from this world on Wednesday, June 5, 2024. Norma leaves behind a legacy full of love and cherished memories.
Norma was born on December 3, 1983 in Houston, Texas to her loving parents Jose Isaias and Nelly Rodriguez. From the moment she entered the world, she brought immense joy and happiness. She was their beautiful princess and will forever be the princess of their hearts.
At a young age, Norma embraced motherhood with unwavering commitment and dedication. She showered her son, Alexander Guevara Jr., with unconditional love, guidance, and support. Alexander was her pride and joy. He was the center of her universe, her one true love. She poured her heart and soul into raising her son the right way. The outstanding young man that he is today, is a true testament of Norma’s steadfast love and unwavering devotion. She loved him dearly and always celebrated his accomplishments, big and small. Their bond was beautiful, strong, and filled with lots of love.
Norma was the eldest of four siblings. As the big sister to Cristina Servin, Junior and Jonathan Rodriguez, she was protective, loving, compassionate, and extremely loyal. She loved her siblings wholeheartedly and was there for them through the thick and thin of life. She was the pillar of her family. As an aunt and Godmother to Aaliyah & Aaron Servin, she was truly amazing and spoiled them endlessly with unconditional love. Her love for her family knew no bounds. As she embraced her role in the lives of her extended family, she developed deep connections and treasured the special moments they shared. Her heart overflowed with love not only for her family, but also for animals, great and small. Her precious fur baby Coco Chanel also held a special place in her heart.
Norma attended Law Enforcement High School and always had a desire to make a positive impact on her community. Her passion for law led her to become a successful paralegal. In her role, she dedicated herself to helping others while providing legal assistance to so many in need. Her generosity extended well beyond her professional life as she actively supported charitable causes. Norma was always the first to offer a helping hand to anyone in need. Her selflessness and willingness to make a difference touched the lives of many.
She had an adventurous spirit, always seeking new experiences and exciting opportunities. Traveling the world was one of her greatest passions, as she enjoyed immersing herself in different cultures and creating lifelong memories with friends. She was a true Houstonian and a huge fan of the Astros, Texans, and Rockets. You could always catch her at a game, the Houston Rodeo, or at a concert. Her zest for life & adventure was contagious, inspiring those around her to live each day to the fullest. Spending time with her son, family, and friends was always priority.
Norma was an incredible friend to many, spreading kindness and compassion wherever she went. She possessed a vibrant spirit full of cheer, optimism, and hope. Her genuine interest in the well-being of others was a gift. With her wonderful, yet strong-willed personality, she exuded a unique and perfect blend of sugar and spice. Norma loved everyone fiercely and deeply. Wherever she went, she was the life of the party. Her laughter was contagious and would fill the room with a lightheartedness that would bring smiles to everyone’s faces around her. She had a unique ability to make everyone feel special, seen, and valued. Norma touched the lives of those around her in such profound ways. She was a woman full of glamour and charisma. The epitome of elegance and style. She effortlessly radiated confidence and charm. She carried herself with poise, making a lasting impression on everyone she encountered.
As we celebrate her life, may we all remember her beauty, her contagious smile, her love for life, friends and family, her kind heart, and vivacious spirit. Let us celebrate this incredible woman who loved fiercely, cared deeply, and brought joy to all. Her memory will forever remain in our hearts. Farewell to our beloved Princess, may she rest in everlasting peace and may we take comfort knowing that she lived her life to the fullest.

A visitation for Norma will be held Thursday, June 20, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home - Champions, 3410 Cypress Creek Parkway, Houston, TX 77068. A graveside service will occur Friday, June 21, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home & Cemetery, 18000 I-45, The Woodlands, TX 77384.
