Nancy Jane Schultz Jordan passed away October 28, 2019 in Katy, Texas after courageously battling Alzheimer’s disease for many years. Nancy was born in Yonkers, New York on December 14, 1931, to parents Harry Lothar Schultz and Violet Cartigny Schultz. Nancy grew up in Ardsley, New York (northern suburb of New York City) and graduated with an Associate’s degree from Katharine Gibbs College. She worked as an administrative assistant at CBS in New York City and married Thomas Jordan at Zion Episcopal Church in Long Island, NY on February 1, 1955. She dedicated her life to raising her 3 sons: Richard, Terry and Bill and is also survived by 5 grandchildren: Kyle, Claire, Paul, Andrew, and Matthew. She is proceeded in death by her parents, her husband Thomas, and her brother, Gordon.
Nancy later worked as an assistant for a State Farm Insurance agency for many years. Nancy enjoyed playing the church organ, piano, and loved to sing. She sang in a chorale, traveled with the Exxon retirement club, and participated in activities with her church in Spring, Texas.
A memorial service will be held on Friday November 1 at 10 am at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home and Cemetery at 13102 North Freeway, Houston, Texas 77060. Guests are requested to meet at the Funeral Home at 9:45 am, before the graveside service at 10 am.
