Willie Fred Chambers was born to Willie Chambers and Rachel Jones on February 20, 1941 in Marshall, Texas. Willie was the oldest child of seven children. He was preceded in death by his father, Willie Chambers and mothers, Lou Ollie Chambers and Rachel Jones Frater and siblings, Mae Francis Linder, William Earl Chambers and his daughter Joyce Ann Chambers.
Throughout his life Willie had a lot of joys and happiness. The greatest thing that brought him joy was his family. He leaves to cherish his memories his wife; Hilion Ann Chambers, siblings Joseph (Brenda), Raymond, Louise, Yvonne (Kevin); children Yulonda, Theresa, Kimberly (Fredrick), Alfred (Shonda), David (Kimberly), Angela, Thomas (Monica) and Dana. Grandchildren; Sade, Ariel, La Tonya, Vincent, Brittany, Brandon, Alexises, Jacqueline, Robert, Thomas, Latrice Tequita, Kelsey and Anna. Along with a host of great & great great grandchildren, cousins and friends.
Willie was a God-fearing man that always showed kindness and never met a stranger. As a deacon at Abundant Faith he made sure to arrive to church early every Sunday and greeted everyone before, during and after the service. Outside of church Willie enjoyed cheering on his favorite teams (the Astros, Rockets and Texans, of course!). Willie Fred’s true love was his love for the Lord and his family which is why he had such a wonderful spirit that always shined bright!
