On October 7, 1951 Glenn Kay Wilson was born to Justiner Hill Wilson and Horace Jones in Houston, Texas. He went on to become a Deacon and Trustee at Pure Faith Missionary Baptist Church. Affectionately known as Boobie Glenn, he would touch many hearts with his infectious personality. A dull moment didn’t exist in his presence. The fact that anyone who knew him could tell a story about him writes the book of his life. His last days were not his best days but in those days he was surrounded with love and family. He was preceded in death by both his parents, his loving wife (Lonnie Wilson), brother (Gregory Wilson), sister (Gladys Wilson) and his beautiful daughter (Verease Walker). He leaves to mourn three sons (Glenn Wilson Jr., Gary Wilson and Joseph Wilson); three daughters (Justiner Odoms, Francis Washington, and Latasha Wilson); two brothers (Craig and Willie Wilson); three sisters (Justiner Wilson, Christine Jacobs, and Ora McGrew); seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews, and other family and friends who will miss him dearly.
