To the family, my cousins, of the late, Dr. Minnie Lee Lemons,PHD. I am saddened to hear about the earthly demise of my very dear and sweet cousin, “Minnie Lee.”  However, I’m glad she has her reward in heaven with her Heavenly Father. She was a Christian woman full of strength and dignity. A blessing to all who knew her. I greatly miss her. To Sister Kimberly Dorsey, Minnie’s daughter and grands,  Jamila and Jared, God loves you. Your mother, grandmother loved and cared much for you all. We shall see again, our beloved sister again. Hold on to what she taught you and what you know about God. Jehovah, will see you through.  I love you all and I’m praying your strength and peace in the Lord. God Bless.  

I am Daidra Powell I took care of Mrs. Bailey. She was so sweet and we really connected. I loved her so much and I know she loved me my kids and grandkids. I wish I got to know her sooner. But I’m sending my condolences to Burnard and the entire family especially for making me apart of her life and y’all family. I’m sending hugs and prayers at this time. RIP Mrs Bailey you will truly be missed and I love you

I am a nephew of Aunt Minnie. She was always such a beautiful and encouraging person. She and Uncle Pat both had wonderful spirits, always trying to help others. She truly believed in education, not only obtaining her doctorate, but also attending and completing law school. I remember her kindness from the time I was very young. She loved her children dearly, cared for her mom and was always one who just wanted to know what could be done. Loved traveling with her to state and national NAACP meetings. She was always committed to right. What a joy to know her and love her,
