A celebration of life for Mildred will be held Wednesday, October 18, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Brookside Cypress Creek Funeral Home, 9149 Hwy 6 North., Houston, TX 77095. A graveside service will follow at Forest Park Southwest Cemetery, 9040 FM-359, Richmond, TX 77406.
We announce the passing of Mildred Mozell Collins Robinson, Our Beautiful, Loving, Kind and Gracious Mother and devout Christian has passed at 92 years young. She was born on June 7,1931 in Paducah Kentucky where she was raised by her loving Humanitarian Mother Lucy Collins and well known Architect father Kitty Collins. After heart wrenching 9 month long undiagnosed illness with a long hospital stay.
Her daughter Melissa and son in law Darwin by her side continuously fighting for her health and healing. Our Lord and Saviour took her home to Heaven in his arms on 9/28/23 at 8:10 pm. Our family has lost the most beautiful Angel, a diamond so full of sparkle and Love. A true Gem, simply unforgettable. She was a wonderful Mother of three and Servant to our Lord God. Proceeding her in death was her Mother Luchia Collins,Father Cyrus Collins, sister Dorothy Hudgeons, Sister Barbara Donahue, Sister Lois Bailey and Ex Husband, and father of her children Vern Robinson. Survived by her beloved and loving children David Robinson, John Robinson and Melissa Bowles. Also beloved nieces Patricia, Irene and Debra as well as many nephews and close family. We were so very blessed to have had such A Beautiful Spirit in our lives. She touched every one that knew her with that big heart and a smile that could light up a room.
At 19 a supervisor for Southern Bell Operators', in Michigan then the moved to Houston Texas were she called home for most of her life. Then landing head operator at Sam White Oldsmobile in Houston many years. Then becoming the head operator at River Oaks Bank & Trust. Later becoming a bank safe deposit officer. After retiring at age 65 from the bank she missed work due to her love of people and service. God had other plans when she went to Dr Hotze for nutrition and hormone advice. Dr Hotze helped her and noticed her gifting and asked her to work for him at Hotze Health and Wellness. She became an integral part of training and healing. Awarded the lifetime achievement and working til she was 83. During this time she was a cherished member of Second Baptist Church Woodway Houston. She loved her bible study group and they loved her. She then moved to California to live with her daughter Melissa and became a cherished member of Glendora Stroke Group. She loved her family, friends, Her Church and her Dogs Mickey, Czarina and Benji. She will be remembered always encouraging and serving People in so many ways.
Thank you Moma for all your Love and for teaching us all how to love and at the same time to be an overcomer (John 16:33). Rest in peace our precious Mother. We got to hold your hand for a little while but you will always have our hearts Love and Memories are Eternal.
