Michelle Layton Anderson

Michelle Layton Anderson, age 67, of Tomball, Texas passed away on Friday, March 11, 2022. Michelle was born April 8, 1954 in Dallas, Texas to her parents Raymond and Magdoline Parrott. She spent her early adult years as a homemaker, and later found a passion for driving everything from school buses, to commercial buses, to 18 wheelers and traveled all over the country from coast to coast. In recent years, Michelle drove a school bus for Tomball ISD; she was greatly loved by her students. Michelle had plans to retire at 68 and enjoy her days surrounded by her children and grandchildren. She was such a giver, even if it meant that she would have to go without. Putting a smile on someone’s face seemed to be the lifeblood of her existence, as long as she wasn’t on the receiving end of a well-planned surprise.

Michelle is survived by her mother, Magdoline Parrott, her daughters, Stephanie Lawless, Brittany Snively, and Amanda Layton, and by her nine grandchildren, Chandler, Alyssa, Ashlynn, and Carson Wilganowski; Dane Tamborello and Kace Layton; and Kaelynn, Avaeh, and Alonna Brown. She is also survived by her son-in-law, Holt Lawless. Michelle is preceded in death by her father, Raymond Parrott and her sister, Debbie Maddux. Michelle was known as a loving daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother.

The lessons Michelle taught through the examples of love and selflessness will live on in all who were blessed to have known her. Even though she is no longer here in physical form, she will continue to live in all of us.

A memorial service for Michelle will be held Saturday, March 26, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060.
